Casual position available for the Children’s Vision Impaired Swim Program.

A rewarding and flexible role - up to four hours per week in Kew.

We are seeking an experienced swimming coach to also use their organisational skills to coordinate a meaningful and impactful swimming program for children with vision loss. This multi-faceted role is a rewarding and flexible one.

• Co-ordinating a supportive team that makes a big difference to children’s lives
• Coaching children with vision loss individually
• Sunday morning coaching, otherwise flexible working hours

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

• Several years’ experience working as a swimming teacher
• Experience teaching people of all abilities is preferred
• Current Swim Australia or Austswim accreditation is essential
• A Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate is desirable.
• Recent experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring swimming training programs, coupled with a strong understanding of current swimming trends and training techniques.
• Some program coordination experience would be desirable.
• Portray a genuine love of teaching and the ability to develop, strengthen and improve all swimmers to reach their full potential.
