Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria would like to invite adults who are blind or have low vision, and their carers or friends, to attend a series of outings in inner city Melbourne.

Victoria Market Discovery Tour 

Learn Victoria Market's history, meet migrant shop owners, enjoy seasonal food tastings and listen to the noise!

Try Before You Ride

Try Before You Ride helps you become more familiar with public transport. You can practise getting on and off an accessible train, tram, bus, coach or accessible taxi in a static situation, and have a chat to public transport experts who will be there to assist you. You can also explore the inside of vehicles so you can become familiar with them.  The event helps people of all abilities feel more confident when using the public transport system.

Peninsula Walk & Hot Springs

Enjoy an overnight visit to the Mornington Peninsula.
We will do some lovely scenic walks around the area followed by a visit to the hot springs where natural thermal mineral water flows into the pools.

Explore a bushland haven for Australian wildlife at Healesville Sanctuary, just one hour from Melbourne in the stunning Yarra Valley wine region. Wander tranquil tracks and see iconic Australian animals including koalas, kangaroos, platypus, dingoes, wombats, emus and more.
