Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invite adults who are blind or have low vision to an exciting cultural dance program.
Kathy Vlassopoulos is our lovely Greek Workshop instructor. She has been teaching creative dance to children and adults for over 20 years in primary and secondary schools, and at the esteemed 'Mangala Studios of Yoga and Creative Dance' in Carlton. Kathy lectures in dance education at various tertiary institutions, holds a Masters in Education in Dance, and is a registered teacher and member of Ausdance Victoria.
Kathy will draw on her Greek cultural roots and passion for Greek music, to provide adults who are blind or vision impaired with an energy-fuelled Greek Dance Workshop. Kathy will be accompanied by an expert Bouzouki player that will get you spinning in circles in no time!
No dance experience is necessary and all fitness levels are welcome.
All attendees must be double vaccinated to attend and show proof of vaccination on the day.
