Join us so others can join in!

Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria is currently seeking a volunteer to accompany and assist a BSRV member who is blind to play golf on Wednesdays at Brighton Golf Course between 9am-3pm.

With rule modifications and partnering with a caddy, anyone can experience the joy of a great drive, chip or putt.

You need to be reliable, enjoy golf, walking and chatting.
As a friendly, volunteer golfing buddy you need to be more than 18 years of age, with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and fully vaccinated.

Recruitment involves an interview, police and referee checks and completion of short training on how to best assist a person who has vision loss. We provide training so you can feel confident to assist, join in, have fun, stay healthy and be involved too.

Try something new and make a positive difference to the quality of life of somebody in your local community.
Join our friendly team of volunteers. Volunteers gain great benefit from assisting people who are blind or vision impaired, while enjoying many valued experiences.

If you are interested in volunteering as a golf buddy/caddy or you would like to find out what other volunteer opportunities are available please contact Rachel on 03 9822 8876 or by email
