Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invites adults who are blind or vision impaired to join volunteer group, Friends of Coburg Lake, as they plant trees and shrubs at 'Grevillea Corner' near Coburg Lake Reserve.
You will have an opportunity to learn about their tireless conservation work whilst enjoying the sweet sounds and smells of the Merri Creek.
Planting is optional on this wonderful excursion.
After this activity, we will head to Mela Patisserie in Pentridge Shopping Centre for a hot drink, hand-made savoury pastry and a social catch-up.

Where: Coburg Lake Reserve Car Park, Lake Grove, Coburg North, VIC.
When: Friday 6th of October, 2023.
Time: 10am to 12pm Gardening; 12pm to 2pm Lunch.
Cost: FREE gardening activity, buy your own lunch.
BYO: Closed shoes, gardening gloves, money for tea/coffee and food.
Transportation:
Option One: Meet at Coburg Lake Reserve Car Park.
Option Two: Meet at Flinders Street Train Station outside the Police Box for assisted travel. Upfield train time and platform number provided closer to event date. Short walk from Batman Station to meeting point.
