We are looking for people who are ready to have some fun, meet new people and help out at a number of venues where the great game of Vision Impaired Table Tennis is played.

Volunteers are most needed at the Kooyong and Moreland venues at the times below.
We are happy to have helpers at the other locations too.

  • Kooyong – every Thursday evening (5.30pm to 8pm) and Saturday afternoons (1pm to 4pm)
  • Moreland/Brunswick - 1st and 3rd Mondays each month (11am to 2pm)
  • Dandenong – every Monday afternoon (1pm to 4pm)
  • Mooroolbark - every Tuesday (7pm to 10pm)
  • Frankston - Wednesdays (1pm to 4pm)

All volunteers will be trained and given the support they require and are sure to make lots of new friends.

Vision Impaired Table Tennis (also known as Swish) is a fast, invigorating game.  It was developed by people who are blind in Australia and has been played here for many years, on both a recreational and competitive level. The game allows people who are blind, vision impaired and sighted to compete on almost equal terms.

If you are interested in volunteering at Table Tennis / Swish, or you would like to find out what other volunteer opportunities are available please contact Susan on 03 9822 8876 or by email info@blindsports.org.au
