Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria
Spin classes offer the opportunity to participate in organised indoor cycling and involve using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a class setting.
You will take part in interval training and higher intensity (race days), as well as recovery. Classes help build endurance and strength.
The following Swim sessions involve a leisurely swim at your own pace.
Classes are suitable for people aged over 18.
The Spin class is held from 1.00 until 1.45pm on Tuesdays at Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre. The Swim is at the same location from 2.00 until 3.15pm.
Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre, 1 Grace Street, Hawthorn, Number 16 Tram or Glenferrie Railway Station.
If you have a pension card, it is $5.35 for the Spin class and $2.00 for the Swim.
