BSRV are excited to share with you that we are recruiting paid internship roles for a Regional Program Coordinator and Regional Board Intern.
Do you like organising events? Are you interested in becoming a program coordinator in the future? Would you like to learn more about how to provide opportunities for inclusive sport and recreation activities and liaise with people with vision loss and the broader sport and recreation community?
The team at Blind Sports and Recreation Victoria is passionate about growing blind sports - particularly in Victoria, and creating opportunities for people with vision loss to participate in sport and recreation.
We are seeking a motivated person with a passion for advancing blind sports and recreation for an intern role supporting our Regional Program Coordination.
The position is a paid part time role - 30.4 hours per week, for approximately 12 months.
The role will report to the BSRV Program Manager. Mentoring support will be provided by our Program Coordinator.
The role will be mostly working from home, with occasional face-to-face events in metropolitan and regional Victoria, and occasional meetings at the BSRV office at Vision Australia in Kooyong, or at a mutually agreeable location.
Persons who are blind or have significant vision loss are strongly encouraged to apply.
