Join us to become a wildlife detective these school holidays.

Don’t miss this chance to step into nature, solve mysteries, and unleash your inner Ranger.

Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invite primary school aged children who are blind or vision impaired to become a wildlife detective this school holidays! Guided by a Parks Victoria ranger, you will learn the secrets of the bush, feel the textures and shapes of animal pelts and skulls, have fun with casts of animal paw prints, discover animal homes in the hollows of ancient River Red Gums and meet a few special taxidermy animals.

When: Friday 3rd October, 2025
Program 10:30am - 12pm, BYO Picnic Lunch 12pm - 1pm

Where: Woodlands Historic Park, Somerton Rd, Greenvale. Vic. 3059.
Meeting Point: Please meet near the main visitor car park. Enter via Somerton Rd.
