BSRV offers a range of FREE online fitness classes for people who are blind and vision impaired and BSRV volunteers to get fit at home.
When: Each week an email link will be provided so you may enjoy this class at your own leisure.
Each FREE Energy Balance recorded session offers 30 to 45 minutes of easy stretch and flow exercises.
All fitness levels are welcome, no equipment is necessary, and anyone who is blind or has low vision around Australia can join in.
Volunteers are also welcome to join.

About Jenny's Energy Balance class
Some of you will already know Jenny Dodd who is BSRV’s Program Manager, and she is also an internationally certified DRU Yoga, Meditation and Qigong teacher with over 20 years' experience.
Jenny’s Energy Balance class is always evolving to ensure the health and wellbeing for people with vision loss who often have specific needs. Generally, classes incorporate slow stretches, gentle flowing movement, breath-work and relaxation.
What is Qigong
Qi" is your energy and "gong" is the work you do on your energy.
Qigong (pronounced “chee-GONG”) is an ancient Chinese practice of learning how energy works in your body, so you can heal yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Recorded sessions
Every week the Energy Balance class and Meditation/Relaxations are recorded and sent for participants to enjoy in their own time.

The Crane is revered by millions worldwide for its ability to bring inner stillness, grace, balance and longevity. Reminding us to move through life with mindfulness and maintain a sense of balance and serenity in all that we do.
The Crane movements in this class involve weight shifting and movements to open the chest, so it is very helpful for clearing emotions like sadness, depression or grief.
