SAILING

There is a range of opportunities for the blind or vision impaired to
participate in sailing. There are 90 mainstream yacht clubs scattered
around Victoria that offer general training and racing programs. Yachting
Victoria's Sailability programs are designed to include people of all ages
and abilities. Sailability is operating at 15 locations. Most participants
just enjoy the freedom and fun of recreational sailing and the supportive
social atmosphere, but there are also plenty of opportunities for the more
competitive people to develop their racing skills to a local or international
level.

The website link for Sailability Victoria that includes contact details and
locatons for the various programs is www.sailability.org/au/vic

The website for the mainstream State Sporting Association, Yachting
Victoria, is www.yachtingvictoria.com.au. The contacts menu provides a link
to every yacht club in the State.
